Kay and Michael had the pleasure of meeting Henrik Orgreen in Paris recently.

MODERNISM IN OPTICS

Ørgreen is Danish design at its best, scroll down to see their latest titanium optical collection and some additions to the acetate sunglass collection. Founded by Henrik Ørgreen, this Danish eyewear design house takes inspiration from the world -renowned Danish designers including Anne Jacobsen and Louis Poulsen.

Prevalent in the Ørgreen aesthetic is a penchant for minimalism and clean lines emanating from the mid-century . Blended with contemporary inspirations including street culture, Ørgreen is modernist and current.

Handcrafted in Japan, the titanium collection is cut from Japanese sheet titanium. With over 100 steps to make a single titanium frame, the collection is impressive with every detail considered.  The collection is light weight, durable and timeless.

For over 15 years we've had the pleasure of working with Toshiaki Yamagishi. Kay and Michael met Yamagishi for the first time in September at the Silmo Trade Fair, Paris, a huge honour, after all these years.  Yamagishi is one of the finest designers in the world, his design and material expertise along with his personal integrity has elevated Yellows Plus to one of the most technologically advanced and highest quality eyewear ranges available today.  Over the past 20 years Yamagishi has honed his design techniques and is now revered for his combination designs featuring both acetate and titanium
