For over 20 years, Japanese designer Toshiaki Yamagishi has captured the attention of the world, with his outstanding eyewear range “Yellows Plus” made in the internationally esteemed eyewear manufacturing precinct of Fukui, Japan.
Yamagishi is the master of juxtaposition bringing together classic form and contemporary flair.

Yellows Plus frames have a relaxed aesthetic, but each design is intricate in its beautifully hand crafted detail. Skilled artisans complete every step of the manufacturing process with exceptional care and attention to detail. The result is one of the world’s most integral and beautifully designed and constructed eyewear ranges.

 

LATEST DESIGNS 2022

Scroll on for the latest frame and sunglass releases (just arrived in store). Yamagishi designs are always timeless, but this new collection combines classic design with a unique and progressive modernity.

We see use of finest quality titanium or takiron acetate (made in Japan) or sometimes a combination of both materials. Frames are durable and light weight and are all laboriously hand burnished, a process which can take over 3 hours per frame. This ensures each frame has a long lasting and deep lustre that won’t peel or craze (in contrast to mass produced frames which are often lacquered or spray finished).
