INTRODUCING LAPIMA.
THE AUTHENTIC LOOK OF BRAZIL.

Lapima landed at Teed St on Monday and although we're closed for lockdown we thought we'd send you a sneak peak of this exceptional new range.

It’s not often we’re this excited by a new design approach to eyewear. The Lapima range from Brazil, with its infusion of modern lines and vintage elegance, shows us that it's still possible to create beautiful shapes and forms that have never been seen before.

Lapima designers from Brazil

It’s easy to see Brazil’s seductive sunsets, the warm earthy hues of its landscapes and the soft contours of its coastline reflected in Lapima’s range of eyewear.

It’s hardly surprising, to be honest.

This authentic Brazilian brand was founded in the city of Campinas in the Sao Paulo region, by designers Gisela and Gustavo Assis.

The couple were inspired both by the country’s artistic movements and the very landscape itself to create this aesthetically stunning range. The designs are bold and chunky, yet delightfully lightweight, being handcrafted from Italian Mazzuchelli acetate.

They’re not so much optical and sunglass frames, as luxury art-pieces with some serious (and we must say flattering too) design attitude.

We’ve show-cased a few of the frames here. There are more colourways and designs in-store.
