Both Yellows Plus and SALT Optics are made in the famous eyewear manufacturing precinct of Fukui, Japan.

Every frame made in Fukui is a testament to the artisanship and ingenuity of the craftspeople who work there, as well as the history of Japanese technology developed over the last century.

Utilising a combination of traditional methods and innovative techniques, frame manufacturing involves over a 100 steps to complete. Polishing is laboriously undertaken by hand, thereby avoiding any use of sprayed laquer. The end result is a beautifully crafted, durable frame with an exceptional lustre.

Frames made in Japan last a lifetime and perform well in all conditions.
