The Exhibitions Gallery of Fine Art in Auckland has just opened a show featuring rare images from the life of Marilyn Monroe. 'Marilyn' contains portraits printed straight from negatives without re-touching and from what we've seen they are incredibly beautiful and revealing, which is all the more impressive in these days of obsessive photo editing.
Taken by several photographers, the images span the screen siren's career, from 19 years old to just before her untimely death at the age of 36.
On the One News website you can see the video to get a peek at what's on show until April 5th.
