Singer, comedian, actress, TV presenter, NZ Idol Judge, the talent goes on…and it was an absolute privilege to have kiwi icon, Jackie Clarke walk in our door and fall in love with not one, but two Kirk & Kirk frames. Unable to decide between the two frames, we made up one as an optical and the other as a pair of prescription sunglasses. An amazingly clever, fun woman and doesn’t she look gorgeous in her new optical wardrobe!
Wishing you a safe and happy Christmas and New Year!

The unique kaleidoscope of colours never fails to impress from British design house Kirk & Kirk. This range of handmade frames are produced in France out of specifically designed acrylic. This acrylic enables a feast of transparent colours but also makes the frames exceptionally light, durable and comfortable. Pictured here new model “Helen” just arrived in store at both Teed St and St Heliers
We've just unboxed these beauties from Salt Eyewear, straight from the Californian coast, just in time for the November promotion.
Salt is a range for those who appreciate restraint, integrity and quality. True modernists, SALT takes design and colour inspiration from nature, reflected in relaxed design and a colour palette spanning ocean blues, forest greens and earth red-browns.
Each frame is handcrafted and hand finished in Japan by third generation eyewear artisans.
Sorry chaps, this one's for the women. A gentle lift and a nod to the “cat’s eye,” Danish design house, Orgreen have nailed it, again! For those who appreciate outstanding design.
Behind the scenes at our favourite Japanese eyewear designer Yellows Plus.
Oliver Goldsmith Fuz, Oops and Audrey are all classic designs originally introduced in the 1960s and 70s and are still just as fabulous today. These new colourways are an exciting addition to the collection. All in stock now at both Newmarket and St Heliers.
Channel the Californian vibe and hang with a pair of Garrett Leight sunglasses this summer.
Modern design is part of the Danes’ national identity and eyewear design house Orgreen, is a fine example. The strength of Japanese titanium turned into natural curves is a perfect marriage of function and form, a beautiful expression of Scandi design.
